SYNOPSIS
Maryse Goudreau et ses voisins ont découvert ce qu’ils croyaient être un char d’assaut de la Seconde Guerre mondiale dans leur boisé agricole commun en Gaspésie. Pour se libérer du fardeau symbolique de ce tank, l’artiste a tenté de créer un échange autour de son exhumation, sur son passé et sur son devenir. L’œuvre participative n’aura duré que trois jours en septembre 2015. Festival du tank d'Escuminac – première et dernière édition laisse voir le triomphe de la cohésion. Ce documentaire d’observation qui relate le projet de l’artiste, cherche à résoudre l’énigme avec les participants tout en décidant du sort de l’objet.

ENGLISH SYNOPSIS
In September 2015, Maryse Goudreau instigator of the Festival du Tank d’Escuminac, first and last edition made a documentary for the occasion. The Bren gun carrier of the Second World War found in the woods shared with neighbours Mathieu Racine and Caroline Dugas was excavated for this film. By calling out to the population, she wished to build with the people who came during these three days, a history of this enigmatic find. Participants are an integral part of a documentary film that will reflect an intergenerational encounter in the community. Everyone could participate in voicing his or her ideas on the future of the "Escuminac tank" project.
